As far as I have searched, Camilla Cavendish has been conducting a campaign for Family Justice going back to January 2006 - but it is alleged to have been a concern for the last 17 years! Cavendish recaps on her articles here in The Times (20th Oct 2008).
My first encounter with Family Justice concerns go back to last July where I read a couple of her articles here and here. Her articles made for very disturbing reading of what can be decided behind the closed doors of officialdom. How can this take place in the United Kingdom? There is another side to the coin in the rightful concern to protect helpless children but what is there in the system that protects innocent parents from having a child taken away - without any right to appeal or right of defence? It seems to me if there should be just one reason for a blog this would be one - if everyone was put this concern on their blogs and Websites the concerns would surely have not gone on for so many years! I’m sure there must have been others who have raised this issue in the media that I have not read but it was an eye opener to our Family Justice system for me to read The Cavendish Files.
