Waltham Forest and Cultural Marxism

So this is where all the Political Correctness comes from with all this equality stuff! It is Communism in disguise! Communism believes in equality - and there is nothing wrong with that until you start eliminating other people’s freedoms - which Communism did. Freedom and Equality are the two basic foundations of democracy. Unfortunately they don’t sit easily together. If you put Freedom and Equality on a horizontal line they will tend to polarize. Freedom militates against equality. Freedom encourages competitiveness - but because of human nature freedom can also exploit as we have seen recently in the banking industry. But emphasis on equality will discourage competitiveness and eventually lead to bankruptcy - as happened in the old USSR. And so the problem of trying to maintain a balance in society - of encouraging competitiveness along with compassion that seeks to make the otherwise less fortunate in society more equal - without an unjust tax on the taxpayer .  But what happens when equality outweighs freedom as expressed in the old USSR (except for the elite), with the denial of freedoms of thought and speech - and religion? Hasn’t Waltham Forest become a victim of a good philosophy gone bad when it imposes equality at the expense of the freedom of parents rights to decide on the moral and religious upbringing for their children? There is a strong argument that traditional Western culture and values that were are being eroded. What is happening in the States is happening here in the UK. It is most persuasive to me that Political Correctness by Waltham Forest  is equal to Cultural Marxism as expressed by Bill Lind. See also here.
