It is a repeated pattern. Throughout the sweep of scripture, God’s creative, curative, and miraculous works come suddenly and completely, not in partial instalments over geological time frames. With a command, a touch, a word, the universe is birthed, man is formed, a sea is parted, the blind see, the deaf hear, the sick healed, and a Savoir raised.”
The subject of origins and the opening chapters of Genesis is the big debate nowadays. Some views on origins are so bizarre you have to smile. But I stopped at this paragraph while reading ‘Theories of Evolution’.
