“Signature in the Cell” & Darwin’s Bicentenary

Back to Richard Dawkins - he has a definite dislike of anything different from his view of origins.
It’s a few years since I read Darwin’s Black Box  - a fascinating read. I didn’t think anything could be more convincing on Intelligent Design - but seems Stephen Meyer  has stepped up the pressure in the Darwinian/Intelligent Design debate with Signature in the Cell.

There are some reviews here by prestigious personalities including double science doctorate, Dr. John Walton, of  St Andrews University who says, “Meyer has marshalled a formidable array of evidence from fields as diverse as biochemistry, philosophy and information theory. He deals fairly and thoroughly with even the most controversial aspects and has made a compelling case for his conclusion. The book is a delightful read which will bring enlightenment and enjoyment to every open minded reader.”
-Dr. John C. Walton, School of Chemistry, University of St. Andrews

I look forward to that. Looking at the star ratings on Amazon Meyer also fairs really well with reviews here.  Published in June Signature in the Cell was well-timed for Darwin’s Bicentenary. Definitely on my list of ‘must reads’.
