There is a long history of trying to reunite Europe since the days of the breakdown of the Roman Empire - 1500 years ago - could Europe ever be reunited under one government - which the Libs would be delighted about. This deserves following up sometime! Meantime, all eyes will be on the coalition - will it succeed? It could be the media that will be its making or breaking.
